The Steering skill allows the character to navigate and master various types of ships and boats. When using this skill, a simple roll is made to determine the maneuverability of the watercraft, its ability to avoid obstacles, and to cope with rough seas. The size of the ship, the wind conditions, and the water depth influence the difficulty of the action.
